GV II

Manor house, now divided. Early C18, much altered in mid C19 with late C19 extension
to rear. Rendered front, plain tiled Mansard roofs with rendered stack to left. 2
storeys and attic under 6 flat roofed dormers in half hipped section of roof. Modillion
cornice and parapet to eaves. 3 bays to front , centre angle bay projecting. Glazing
bar sash windows to first floor with cambered heads in outer bays. Central half-
glazed door in angle bay with fluted Doric pilaster surround and triglyph freize extending
to either side to form rich cornice over gr und floor of central angle bay. Single
storey hipped roof addition to left end, 3 angle bays to right hand return front.
Rear : Red brick with terracotta dressings. Late C19 angle bays with Dutch style
pediments to bays and tall panelled stacks on roof.
