House. Early-mid C16 to left hand side, late C16/early C17 to
right hand side; extended to rear C19 and 1982. Timber framed,
modern panelled plasterwork, hipped thatched roof. 2 storeys.
Mid C20 casement windows with square leaded panes; older part
with cross passage entry: mid C20 plank door and thatched open
porch on timber posts; internal stack. Interior with good
exposed timbering, especially at the later end; original newel
stairs in small rear extension; small remains of ornamental
plaster frieze in the main first floor bedroom. Sandon, Suffolk
