Cottage. Early C19. Rubble flint with red and white brick dressings and a
thatched roof. Single storey. Entrance front. Central plank door to
either side of which are 3-light casement windows with flat heads. Brick
quoins and voussoirs to these openings and brick quoins to the corners of
the building. Hipped roof with central brick stack of 2 flues. Three-
light casements to the side of the building with cambered heads. C20
outshut to the rear at centre. The sole surviving intact example of a
gamekeeper's cottage on this shooting estate.
