II
A row of 3 cottages. Circa 1850. 1½ storeys. White brick, with plaintiled
roofs. Internal chimney-stacks with plain rectangular shafts. The eastern
cottage is set at a slightly higher level, but all 3 are of one build, and
unaltered. Each cottage is double-fronted, with 2 3-light casement windows
with a single bar to lights, slightly arched heads to brick surrounds, and
hood-moulds in Tudor style. 3 gabled dormers with 2-light casement windows. A
central plank door with rectangular fanlight and a gabled porch roof with
fishscale tiles and fluted barge-boards, supported on large ornamental
brackets.
