House. C16. Renovated c.1970, the right cell added 1973. Timber framed and
rendered, lined in imitation of ashlar. Thatched roof. 3 cells (as
extended). 1 1/2 storeys. 3 casement windows with horizontal glazing bars.
Plank door. 2 hooded dormers. Old range has gable stacks, one now internal.
Interior. Frame in 2 1/2 bays, a further section to right missing and replaced
by work of 1973. Widely-spaced full-height studs, visible mainly on upper
floor. Left gable has incomplete diamond-mullioned window. One tie beam
removed, the other with mortices for missing braces. tipper floor may be later
insertion: joists set flat, quite widely-spaced; one floor beam replaced
c.1970. Intact roof with clasped purlins and incomplete arched wind-bracing.
