TL 96 NE NORTON NORTON LITTLE GREEN

House, probably late C16 or early C17. 2 storeys. 2-cell end-chimney plan.
Timber-framed, encased on 3 sides in early C19 red brick. The south gable is
of narrow red bricks with a crowstepped parapet gable and a chimney with twin
octagonal flues, all work of late C16 or early C17. Concrete plaintiled roof.
An C18 external gable chimney of red brick to right. Early C19 small-pane
casements, those at ground storey with cambered heads. Doorway at cross-entry
position: C19 outer frame, recessed fully glazed mid C20 door.
