House, C16 core with early C19 remodelling. Timber-framed, encased at the
front in early C19 red brick with rusticated quoins of gault brick. Dressings
of gault brick with a vertical band linking the reveals of the upper storey
windows with those below. Plaintiled roof. 2 storeys. 3 windows. Early C19
small-pane sashes with flush frames; flat arches of gauged brick. Early C19
entrance doorway: panelled door, half-glazed with small panes. Broad
rusticated and keyed architrave with pediment. The house was originally long-
wall jettied to the street. Double-ogee moulded 1st floor members.
