House, latterly 2 dwellings. C17, extended C19, altered C2O. Timber frame extended
in clay lump. Plastered, some weatherboarding. Thatched roof. 3 cell lobby entrance
plan with 1 bay added to right. 1 storey and attic. Symmetrical 4 window front:
central entrance, flanking C20 2-light part opening glazing bar casments, outer
small 2-light casements, all with hoodboards, over inner bays are 2 eyebrow thatched
dormers with C20 2-light casements. Central axial ridge stack. Gable and attic
2-light casements and lean-to outshuts, that to left pantiled with a door to front,
that to right weatherboarded with a corrugated sheet roof. To rear a C20 flat
roofed addition. Interior: framing altered and concealed, to left an ogee stop
chamfered cross axial binding beam, stop chamfered posts, arched braces in left end
wall.
