House, latterly a public house. Mid to late C17, altered C19 and C20. Timber
frame, plastered. Thatched roof. 3 cell lobby entry plan. 2 storeys.
Offset plinth. Entrance to right of centre in a C19 gabled porch, studded
plank door, tiled roof. C20 2 and 3-light glazing bar casements. Axial ridge
stack rebuilt in C19 with separate flues conjoined at head. Left gable end
rebuilt external stack in a lean-to outshut with pantiled roof. Right gable
end has one original shaped bracket to bargeboards. C20 lean-to addition to
rear. Interior: some altered framing, first floor not inspected.
