Farmhouse; c.1600, with rear service wing of 1831 as dated on plaster gable.
3-cell cross-passage entrance plan. Two storeys and attics. Timber-framed
and plastered. Thatched roof with axial chimney of red brick. C20 casements
and panelled entrance door at side. Good unmoulded framing exposed
internally; long 2-bay parlour cell with massive principal members of elm
timber. Back-to-back open fireplaces with very wide cambered lintels in hall
and, unusually, in parlour also. Butt purlin roof.
