4/15 The Lodge

II

Lodge to Rowdeford House (q.v.), early C19, roughcast with thatched
hipped roof and rear stack. Single storey, picturesque style with
stone mullion windows with hoodmould and applied timber cusping to
heads of lights. Two ground floor 2-light windows flanking central
door in Tudor-arched surround with hoodmould. Tiled gabled timber
porch with cusped barge boards. End walls have similar 3-light
windows. Leaded lights throughout. Raised angle piers. Thatched
rear wing with similar 2-light end window.
