Cottage, C16 - C17. Timber framed with brick infill replacing wattle and daub, rear wall and right gable brick. Thatched roof. Single-storey and attic, 2 bays and 3rd weatherboarded bay to right. Entrance to centre bay; boarded door. Timber windows, new 1985. Roof half-hipped left. External stack left gable, and external stack incorporated within weatherboarded bay. Interior has central framed wall with wattle and daub panels. Floor supported on ledger rail pegged to frame. Chamfered spine beams, bar stopped chamfer to centre bay. Roof clasped purlin and windbraces to centre truss. House being extensively altered and extended February 1985.
