Combined brewhouse and dairy. Early C18. Brewhouse to south,
dairy to north. Built of stone rubble with old tiled roof.
South elevation has one 1st floor original mullioned window
with iron bars to left and original leaded light to right.
Large ground floor window with wooden shutter in quoined
surround. Plank door. East elevation has 2 mullioned windows
and one window with brick surround. 2 plank doors.
Interior has early C18 fireplace with cambered arch and copper
to one side. Central staircase with late C18 6-panelled door
at base. The farmhouse replaces an older manor house. A
datestone with the initials IF 1745 found buried near the
Brewhouse-Dairy probably relates to the previous farmhouse but
may be an indication of the date of this building.
