Terrace of stucco houses adjoining No 1 and facing Vivary Park. Early C19, altered. No 2 comes forward slightly and is of two storeys, the rest two storeys plus basement. Hipped slate roofs with projecting eaves to Nos 3 and 4, which also have plain pilasters. four or five windows to each house, No 2 with rectangular hoodmoulds and sashes, No 4 with casements and some Gothic heads to lights, No 2 has verandah with rear-to roof on brackets, No 4 has trellised verandah to basement. High wall with round headed doorway, runs along street to join No 5.

Nos 1 to 14 (consec) Upper High Street, the listed buildings in Vivary Park and Mount Street form a group together with the School, Unitarian Chapel, The Lawn and Mary Street House in Mary Street, and Wilton House and ornamental column in Hammets Walk.
