Farmhouse. 1680 with roof raised early C19. Coursed sandstone rubble with red
brick to first floor. Plain-tiled roof with ridge stack rebuilt above the ridge.
2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2 C19 first floor casements. 2 ground floor windows in
enlarged openings. Doorway to left hand in original opening has C19 flush
panels. The date is inscribed in a stone panel to the front wall. Attached dairy
to left hand, now a kitchen, also 1680 and of similar materials. One storey and
loft. 2 stable doorways, one now glazed, and a narrower kitchen doorway.
Interior: Stop-chamfered main beam. Back-to-back inglenook hearths with
chamfered lintel.
