5/92 Fishers Hall Farmhouse

House. Late C16 and C19. Timber-framed, part brick cased and part rendered.
Plain-tiled roof with red brick ridge stack to south side of ridge. Original
lobby-entry plan facing the yard. 3 bays, extended at the west end by one bay.
One storey and attic. On the south front, 3 gable dormers, C19, and 4 late C20
wood casements at ground floor. The bay at the west end is an addition. Brick.
Plain tiled. One storey and attic. On the rear a C19 gable; brick porch to the
lobby entry. Interior: One partition wall has close set late C16 studwork.
Trenched purlin roof with wind bracing. Ovolo moulded main beam to one ground
floor room. Cambered tie beams with steeply angled arch bracing. Back-to-back
inglenook hearths.
