Farmhouse, now house. Early C17 with mid C17 wing added to front. Timber-frame
with later brick infill, colourwashed. Plain-tiled roof. Stack of 2 flues off
the ridge. 2 bays and 2-unit plan with cross-passage at rear of stack. T-plan. 2
storeys. C20 leaded light casements to ground and first floors. Small framing of
height of 3 panels to each wall. Mid C17 parlour wing added to front.
Timber-framed on high sandstone rubble plinth. 2 storeys. Similar C20 leaded
light casements to gable end. Exposed framing also of height of 3 panels to each
wall. Through-purlin roofs with inclined Queen struts from tie-beam to collar.
Jowled heads to posts and upward bracing. Doorway in C20 porch in angle.
