House. C17 or earlier; some C19 rebuilding and alterations. Early C20
alterations. Front, possibly timber framed, has colourwashed roughcast. Rear has
some exposed timber framing; infill, underbuilding and rebuilding of
colourwashed brick. Thatched roof has C19 brick gable parapet with kneeler to
left; C20 brick end stacks and rendered ridge stack. 4-unit plan. One storey and
attic; 3-window range. Lean-to across third and fourth bays has slate roof. C20
addition beyond. Entrance in second bay has leaded part-glazed 6-panelled door.
C19 moulded wood surround has pilaster strips and shallow hood. Early C20
casements with glazing bars, of 3 lights to ground floor and 2 lights to swept
dormers. Irregular rear has C19 plank door. Some C19 casements. Early C20
shallow gabled wing to left. Interior noted as having some exposed beams. Said
to have open fireplace.
