One building. Early C17 3 storey with timber framing; jettied on second
floor and with three flush gables. Ground floor is rendered with early
C19 stucco having horizontal rustications. 5 sashes in cased frames, glazing
bars, and two, similar, doorcases. No 12 has "Adam type" fanlight. Tile
roof with C19 cresting to ridge. Interior, is said to contain original
"cock pit" in attic. VCH, viii, p.429. Some early panelling in No 14.

All the listed buildings on the south side form a group.
