10/47 Yew Tree Cottage

GV II

House, formerly 2 cottages. Mid/late C17. Timber framed with brick infill. Stone
plinth. Thatch roof with brick ridge stacks. Two 2-unit plans. One storey plus
attic; 4-window range of C20 casements, those to attic storey in eyebrow
dormers. C20 door to left made using old planks. C20 two-storey range to left in
imitative style. Interior: chamfered spine beans with arrow-head stops and
chamfered joists. 2 large open fireplaces, one part-rebuilt. Said to retain
original roof.
