WEST LAVINGTON - SU 04 NW 9/263 Cornbury Farmhouse II Farmhouse. 1809. Flemish brickwork with flush stone quoins. Slate roof. Two storeys and attic. 4 bays. Left 3 bays symmetrical with recessed 6-panelled door in second bay, with C19 pent tiled roof. Moulded stone surrounds. C19 timber windows to ground floor, with ogee moulded architrave of stone, and moulded sills. 4 x 3 paned single hung sash windows to first floor, also with stone surrounds. Datestone reading DM/1809. Two gabled late C19 dormers. Large axial stack before a fourth, contemporary bay on right, now dining room. Cyma moulded stone eaves. Gable stack to left and roof hipped to right. Right bay extended to rear as a 2-storey wing, late C19-early C20, and single storey outbuilding attached to right of facade at lower level.
