House. C17. Timber framed with whitewashed brick noggings,
thatched roof. Rendered to front and gables. Single-storey and
attics, 3 bays, with 2-bay cross wing now containing kitchen and
dining room at south end. Framing 2 panels high with straight
corner braces. Entrance to rear in northern bay, a half-glazed
door within glazed porch under extension of roof. Timber windows
to front, leaded to rear with C18 window in centre bay and late C17
flush dormer. Stack in northern bay. Roof half hipped to north
and hipped over rear bay of wing.
Interior: Stair at side of stack. Partitions timber framed with
carved corbels. Windbrace in extension. Upper floor window
engraved with scratched inscription reading "ISAAC JOHNSON .. day
of February 1806".
