Pair of cottages. C17 and early C19. Timber framed, refaced in brick in 2 stages, probably late C18 or early C19. Thatched roof. Left cottage, No 54, is of 2 bays with outshut, and stack to main room on right party wall. Appledore has 2 bays with central stack and entrance to left bay. Added outshut. Four-panelled door in timber porch to No 54; boarded door to Appledore and timber porch on gable end. Two and 3-light paned timber windows and dormer to rear. Roof hipped to right. Interior not seen, may be of interest.
