C18 altered; or early C19. 2 storeys. Brick with moulded stone cornice and
brick parapet with stone coping. Pantile roof with C19 octagonal chimneys.
'L' plan with gabled wing to left hand, coping continued up gable with saddlestone.
End of wing facing road has a 2 storey 3 light angular bay with single architrave
frame to plate glass sash windows on each floor; moulded cornice and lead
flat over. Main block to right, a 2 light casement to left and 2 of 3 lights
all with stone frames and mullions, but C19 lights, on 1st floor. On ground
floor from left hand - 8 panel door, bottom panels flush type, in wide stone
architrave, under flat moulded stone hood on cut stone brackets, and with
good wreath type knocker; 4 windows, plate glass sashes in stone architraves.
C19 railings to road with dog rails and octagonal standards with dog leg
braces. Left hand wing projects to rear. Projecting gabled wing to right
which also has saddlestones to coping.
