4/30 Old Farm Cottage

GV II

Semi-detached house. Early C18. Limestone ashlar and dressed
stone, pantiled roof, gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 4-
windowed main build has blocked stone chamfered doorway to left of
centre, 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement either side,
plat band to first floor and single light and three 2-light
mullioned casements. Attached to right is slightly earlier build;
door with 6 fielded panels and transom light in elliptically-arched
cast iron porch with guilloche decoration, to right is 3-light
leaded casement to ground and first floor. Left return has
external stack, blocked single light to right and single recessed
chamfered light to attic, coped verge. Rear has similar windows.
Interior said to have chamfered beams and bolection-moulded
fireplace to south room.
