A C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a cross wing at the south end. Altered and added to in the C18-C19 and later. The cross wing is two storeys and attics and the main block is one storey and attics. The gable of the cross wing is jettied on shaped brackets, with an embattled bressummer, The ground storey windows are mainly double-hung sashes with glazing bars and the first storey and attic windows are casements. Roofs slate. At the north end there is a C19 addition with one gabled dormer and the main block has two gabled dormers. The main block has a good C17 chimney stack with four grouped octagonal shafts with spur caps on a square base.
