House. 1925-33. Buckland and Heywood. Red brick in Flemish bond, hipped dark red
plain tiled roof. Left and right internal stacks with forward raised panel. Two
storeys. 5-window range, symmetrical facade. Central pedimented doorcase,
pilasters with fluted CAPBALL and moulded bases. Plain entablature. Moulded door
surround, door of 6 sunk moulded panels. To left and right circular pivoting lights
with glazing bars, in moulded frames. To far left and right, horned sash with
glazing bars, with 2 x 4 panes. Brick band at cill level of these sashes. 5
similar first floor windows. Flat headed arches and flush surrounds to windows
picked out in darker brick, which continues as a vertical feature etween the outer
windows of each storey, as if to form an apron to the upper floor windows. Attached
garage to right.
