A C15-C16 timber-framed and plastered building of the Wealden House type
with 2 wings and a central hall recessed under a continuous roof (tiled).
The south-west wing is built out on the ground storey and is plastered.
Two storeys. The hall and north-east wing have exposed timber-framing
and the north-east wing has a jettied upper storey on exposed joists.
The windows are mainly casements with glazing bars, the hall block has
an old leaded casement on the upper storey. Graded for its value as
part of a street group comprising Nos 85 to 91 (consec).
