Corner building adjoining Gainsborough House. C18 with alterations. Red
brick 3 storey 2 windows, sash with glazing bars. 4 large 3-light wide
weavers' windows with small panes, at first and 2nd floor and ground floor
modern shop full depth on return facing Weaver's Lane. Built by the Gainsborough
family as warehouse with weaving rooms. Similar weavers' windows at back
on to garden of Gainsborough House.
Nos 41 to 47 (consec) and 1 and 2 Weaver's Lane form a group.
