An early C19 grey gault brick building. 4 storeys. 3 window range, double-hung
sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals. A wood cornice runs above the
1st storey windows of No 4 and a stucco band above the window of No 2. The
2nd and 3rd storey windows have stucco cornice litels, the ground storey
has C20 shops. Roof slate.
Nos 2 & 4, Nos 8 to 12 (even) & Church of St Lawrence form a group.
