Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed and dressed stone; slate roof, part
Westmorland; stone end stacks. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic,
symmetrical 2-window front; glazing bar sashes; low, central boarded
door. Slightly set-back flanking walls approximately 2m high to left
and right. Cast iron railings with ornate fleur-de-lys arcading and
urn standards flanking central gate with dog rails and scrolled brackets,
set on ramped dwarf walls retaining bank and with symmetrical steps of
opposed flights.
