Spring head basin. Early to mid-C19. Stone. Neo-Norman, set back from
pathway; Norman pilasters; capitals and plain imposts to zig-zag-
moulded round-arch over. Semi-circular niche with lion head spout;
all capped by 5 massive chisel-drafted hammer-dressed
voussoir blocks with guaged edges. Circular basin; roll-moulded rim
and semi-circular surround.
