house to Hales Hall

GV II

Stables and coach house. Early C19 altered mid C19. Red brick with
raised band at first-floor level; hipped, tiled roof on cogged eaves band;
stack to rear. T-shaped plan. Front of two storeys, hipped projection
to right with a range of 3-light casements, the ground floor (formerly
an entrance) has wedged head and keystone; set back wing has two pairs of
casements widely spaced to the first floor set over an elliptically
arched carriage arch to left with double boarded doors and stable entry
to right alongside stable window both with segmental heads but openings
have been altered. Included for group value.
