Canal milepost. Dated 1820. Cast iron. Approximately 800mm high,
set on circular shaft with convex rectangular display to top, divided
down centre and inscribed to left: "UTTOXETER/18/MILES" and to right:
"ETRURIA/12/MILES"; the head is finished by a dome and the base bears
a small quatrefoil inscribed: "R & D/STONE/1820".
