Manor house. C17 with early C19 additions. Coursed stone with ashlar
dressings; tiled roof; 3 ashlar ridge stacks. L-shaped plan of C17
range with early C19 cross wing to right hand end. Entrance front: lower
two-storey, three-window range of mullioned two-light casements, one of
three lights to centre, and single-storey flat-roofed, canted bay window
to right with glazing bar sashes and a crenellated parapet containing
blank coat of arms; widely spaced paired modillions to eaves, string
at first floor level to left stepped oven window and Tudor-arched
entrance; further entrance to left of bay window, both with C20 doors.
Taller two-storey wing to right with moulded eaves of hipped roof set
at ridge height of remainder, and chamfered quoins and first floor cill
string; two-storey canted bay window front with glazing bar sashes,
quoins and strings at cill level. '
