Early to mid C19. 2 pairs of houses with chequered fronts of red and pink brick.
Welsh slated roofs with brick cyma recta cornice mouldings. Basements and 3
storeys. Each pair has central dummy window and 2 sash windows with glazing bars
under flat arches; windows to Nos 8 and 9 flush set with extra window on right,
those to Nos 10 and 11 in reveals. 2 storey bay window to No 10 has ground floor
curved sides, Doric pilasters, entablature. 2 pairs of doorways with panelled
reveals, reeded Doric pilasters, entablature over pilasters, cornices. Coupled
trellis porches to Nos 8 and 9.
Nos 8 to 18 (consec) form a group.
