Lychgate. Mid-late C19. Coursed rock-faced stone with timber superstructure; stone
slate roof. Square on plan in Gothic style. Wall approx. 1 metre high supports open
timber superstructure with cusped and perpendicular-style tracery. On west (road)
side,, 2-leaf gates under brattished tie beam inscribed "I AM THE RESURRECTION AND
THE LIFE" with pointed-arched tracery above and cusped and foliage-decorated barge
boards to gable. Wooden benches inside. Included for group value.
