GV II

House, now shops and offices. Mid C18. Squared coursed ironstone with plain-tile
roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys with attic. Elevation to road of 5-window of
sash windows under segmental arch heads with keyblocks. 3 windows to right have
glazing bars. Late C19 shop fronts at ground floor. Moulded stone cornice to
front and rear and ashlar gable parapets with kneelers. Brick stacks at end.
Rear has two 3-light casements with wood mullions and transoms under stone
lintels with keyblocks. C19, two-storey, canted stone bay window and trick
porch. Interior had small mid C18 staircase with 2 turned balusters per tread.
Some 6-panelled doors and panelled window reveals.
