House. Early C18. Squared coursed ironstone with slate roof. Originally 2-unit
plan with staircase projection to rear. 2 storeys with attic. 3-window range of
C18 casements, with wood mullions and transoms, under wood lintels. Central
6-panelled door has hood with pediment. Large central roof dormer. Ashlar gable
parapets and brick and stone stacks at ends. Rear similar with C19 lean-to
extension. Interior: room to right of entrance has open fireplace with bressumer
and chamfered ceiling beams. Fine early C18 staircase to rear has turned
balusters, continuous newels and quarter landings.
