Two houses, now house and shop. Early C18 and late C19 with C20 alterations.
Squared coursed ironstone and rendered brick with C20 plain tile roof. No.42
originally 2-unit plan and No.43 originally 2-unit terrace plan; now No.42 is
single unit shop with accommodation to No.43. above. 2 storeys, 4-window range of
C19 sashes and C20 casements. No.42 has a C2O shop front and No.43 has C20 door
with C19 sash in right. Brick stack at ridge and end.
