GV II

Pair of cottages. Late C17, altered C20. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble,
thatch roof, brick ridge and end stacks. 2-unit plans. 2-storey, 4-window range.
No.12 to right has 4-panel door in pegged wood surround with wood lintel,
flanked by 3-light casement windows, with cemented wood lintels. No.14 has C20
door to left of centre in pegged wood surround with wood lintel, a 2-light
casement to left of door, a 3-light casement to far left and fire window in
between, all with wood lintels. Both have 2-light casement windows to 1st floor
in eyebrow dormers. No.14 has bar-stop-chamfered spine beam, chamfered spine
beam and open fireplace with ogee-stop-chamfered bressumer.
