Farmhouse. Late C17, altered C18 and C19. Coursed squared limestone banded with
ironstone, ironstone dressings, thatch roof, blue brick and stack to rear and
red brick ridge and end stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range
facing street. Front to street has central 2-light casement window with moulded
stone surround and hood mould of original stone mullion window, flanked by
3-light casement windows with similar surrounds and hood moulds. 2-light
ovolo-moulded stone mullion window to first floor centre, similar 3-light window
to first floor left, 3-light leaded casement to first floor right with moulded
stone jambs of original window and wood lintel. Rendered plinth, quoins and
stone-coped gables with kneelers. Wing to rear right has part-glazed central
door with panelled reveals, reeded wood surround and straight hood flanked by
3-light leaded casements. Similar 2-light windows to first floor in eyebrow
dormers. Interior noted as having chamfered spine beams.
