of St. Mary
GV II

Headstone, 1822. Sandstone. Stone with shaped top and inscription to Henry
Bower of Ellington, and verse:

Here lies within this hollow span
The relicks of an Honest Man
The grave, great teacher, to a level brings
Heroes and beggars, galley-slaves and kings,
Reader! he's flown to seek a purer sky
Go live like him, then with his calmness die.
