House row, now shop row. Early - mid C18, altered by insertion of shopfronts
during C19 and C20. Red brick on red brick plinth, now painted on Nos 7, 9,
13, 15 & 17. Moulded wooden eaves cornice to plain tiled roof with gable-
parapets, end stacks and two ridge stacks to left and right of centre.
Single hipped dormers to Nos 7 & 9, 15 & 17; flat-headed dormers to Nos
11 & 13. 2 storeys and attics; regular 12 window front on first floor,
(2 windows per house). Glazing bar sashes on No 7 (with thick glazing bars)
and No 13, sashes without glazing bars on No 9, sashes on No 11 and margin-
light sashes on Nos 15 and 17. Single segment-headed margin-light sash on
No 15 with panelled door and transom-light in segment-headed surround to right.
Double C20 shopfront with central glazed door on ground floor of No 7. Later
C19 single shopfront with recessed glazed door to left on No 9. Early - mid
C19 shopfront with pilastered surround and entablature hood with panelled
door in segment-headed surround to right of No 11. Early C20 single shop-
front on No 13 with recessed door to left. Early C20 double shopfront with
inset glazed door off-centre to left on No 17. Rear wall of flint and brick
with various brick and weatherboarded extensions.
