House, now 2 dwellings. Late C18 refronting of late C17 or early C18 building,
altered C20. Front of red brick in Flemish bond; plain tile roof. 2 storeys
with attic. 3 bays with continuous rear outshut which has been raised at each
end. C20 small-pane French window to right bay; part-glazed door at left end.
Windows are unevenly spaced: end bays have sashes with glazing bars; centre bay
on ground floor has a tripartite window with 4-pane sashes flanking sash with
glazing bars, and on 1st floor a 16-pane sash; windows in left bay are mid-late
C20 with rebuilt brick arches; other windows have flat brick arches. End of tie
rod at eaves between bays 1 and 2. Parapet, with top rebuilt and flat stone
coping. Roof has ridge stack between bays 1 and 2 and external stack at right
end in front roof pitch, the top rebuilt C20. Right return (no 28): pebble-
dashed; early C20 with Art Nouveau coloured glazing in panelled reveal with
wooden architrave; inserted lst-floor window; 2-light small-pane attic
casement. Interior not inspected, but recorded as having staggered butt purlins
and wind braces to roof (DBRG report).
