1840. Pair of houses, 3 storey. Stuccoed. Rusticated ground floor treatment
with moulded string at 1st amd 2md floor levels. Moulded eaves cornice. Hipped
slate roof. Panelled pilasters to upper part at angles. Each has 2 windows
with architrave surround, and cornice over 1st floor, to upper part. One window
on ground floor and 5-panel door to left hand in surround of engaged Doric
columns and entablature. No 32 has rectangular fanlight and No 35 has segmental
headed fanlight, doorway and doorhead.

All the listed buildings, with Nos 1 to 9 (consec) Lowndes Buildings, in Castle
Street (West Side) form a group.
