NY 97 NW CHOLLERTON LITTLE SWINBURNE

10/58 Little Swinburne Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. 1808 for Sir Wm. Lorraine. Dressed stone with Lakeland slate roof.
2-storey, 5-bay main block with lower one-bay side wings projecting to rear.

Garden front has central double boarded doors with overlight in alternating-
block jambs. Similar surrounds to 12-pane sash windows.

Left wing has blocked window. Right wing has margined sash on ground floor and
16-pane sash above.

Coped gabled roof with kneelers and rebuilt brick ridge stacks. Garage door
inserted in rear of left wing.

Interior has staircase with square balusters, 6-panelled doors and internal
shutters.
