Groom's Cottage and Coach house, c1800 incorporating earlier fabric. Squared
stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Double.doors in tall segmental-
headed arches in bays 1 and 2, renewed 16-pane sashes (the upper a later C19
insertion) in bay 3 and vertical-panelled door in bay 4. Coped gable to left,
roof hipped to right; stepped and corniced ridge stack. Later extension
set back to right not of interest. Left return shows masonry of C17 type.
Early C19 drawings show a dovecote on the ridge to the left of the stack.
