2/15 Summerhill House

GV II

Farmhouse. C17 with C18 facade. Timber framed. Ground floor red
brick in Flemish bond to left end, rest of front elevation tile-
hung on both floors. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Roof hipped to
left, hip returning to rear, and half-hipped to right. Rear stack
to left, multiple red and grey brick ridge stack to right of
centre. Irregular fenestration of 3 casements, two to left and one
to right of ridge stack. Boarded door with rectangular light and
flat bracketed hood under stack. Rear return wing to left with red
brick ground floor, tile-hung first floor and plain tile roof half-
hipped to rear. Similar central rear wing adjoining and flush with
left wing, and with weatherboard first floor. Interior not
inspected. Formerly known as Summerhill Farm.
