Probably former carriage block. Late C18. 2 storeys in brick with pantile roof
and dentil brick eaves cornice. Modern penticed extension with door to east, carriage archway with stone keystone and impost blocks, small windows, diagonal-set brick eaves cornice to west elevation. Gable end to road has 1 window above shop window and modern door. West elevation has 1 hung sash window with glazing bars and later fenestration and doorway in blocked former carriage archway.

No 4 and Nos 8 to 26 (even) form a group.
